Both Thornhill House & Lodge have been extensively and carefully renovated  with character,  convenience and comfort in mind!


One of the very few properties in the area that has all 9 ensuite bedrooms.  


The 'House' has a large comfortable characterful lounge with exposed stone walls and an open fireplace and a 50" TV.  One of the sofas is a double sofa bed (small additional charge).  The huge modern dining kitchen can comfortably seat up to 12.  The master Superking suite has a seating area with a 50" TV and a good sized ensuite bathroom.  There is also a comfortable sofa bed (small additional charge).  The second King size bedroom on the first floor has a well appointed ensuite.  There's also an ensuite bunk room.  On the top floor there are two luxurious Superking bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms and great countryside views.  There is an additional luxury shower room on the half landing and a ground floor wc & utility room.  Outside there is a large deck with picnic tables, barbecue and garden lounge furniture.  


The 'Lodge' has a large comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove and a 50" Smart TV.  The family room also has a 50" Smart TV.    There is a well equipped dining kitchen which comfortably seats up to 10.  There are highly specified ensuites to every bedroom - Two King, one Double and one twin.  There is also a double sofa bed in the TV/family room ( small additional charge) and there's a separate toilet.


Large enclosed patio with ample garden furniture and barbecue.  Extensive private parking and easy disabled access leads to all-on-the-level accommodation.


Thornhill is a conservation village with a superb central location close to Stirling.  It's ideal for touring, exploring  Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, visiting Stirling Castle, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Go Ape, cruising on Loch Katrine or one of many local attractions.  The house has a convenience store directly across the road and the Lion & The Unicorn is a very well known restaurant and bar that serves great food and is only 2 mins walk from the house.  Locally, 'The Woodhouse' and 'The Smiddy' are excellent coffee and farm shops with many deli items.
